Can I purchase tickets at the Arena?

Yes, tickets can be purchased at ticket entry for $10. No refunds. Rodeo goes on rain or shine!

MCLB Barstow Active Duty and children under 3 years old do not need a ticket.

What are The kids rodeo events?

Stick horse barrel racing, Single stake race, and Dummy roping

Age categories: 3-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-12 years.

What are rules for my child to do Mutton Bustin’ 

Open to children all ages 4-7 weighing less than 60lbs.

Children will be weighed before riding.  Any child weighing more than 60lbs will not be able to participate.  Refunds will not be issued for registered children.

Must pre-register with Flying U Rodeo before the event.  No day-of registration will be accepted. 

Proof of health insurance and birth certificate required during registration and must be presented at the event.

There is a $35 entry fee per child per day.

Entries are on a first come, first served basis.

Does active duty need a ticket ?

Active duty members who are stationed on MCLB Barstow are FREE! Just present your military ID at the door for entry.

Does my 3-year-old need a ticket?

No, children 3 and under are FREE and do not need a ticket.

What should I bring to the rodeo?

A blanket to sit on (the bleachers can be hot/cold), sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses

What is not allowed at the rodeo?

Ice chests, outside food or beverages, pets of any kind (except service animals)

No weapons of any type

Where is the Marine Corps Rodeo?

The event is being held at the Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard Stables.

Can I be a vendor at the Marine Corps rodeo?

Unfortunately, vendor registration has closed for 2019. We look forward to hearing from you for 2020 vendor registration!

Is there parking available?

Parking entrance is on Agate Road. The rodeo is held at the Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard Stables in Daggett /Yermo. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
